We're finally having cold weather here in TX and it's beginning to look like Christmas. Houses are decorated with colorful lights and Christmas trees are showing off their sparkly ornaments. What a special time of year!

Are you finished with your shopping? I need to purchase a few more gifts, but the majority of my shopping is done. It's too bad I'm not one of those folks who shops right after Christmas (for the Christmas of next year). I guess I can't think that far ahead, but it would be helpful when December rolls around.

It's so easy to get caught up in all of the shopping, baking, gift wrapping, etc. but as you prepare for Christmas, I pray that you'll have a spirit of peace, a smile for those you meet, and thoughts of the Christ child - our real reason for the season.
